Membership Blitz
March 25 and 26 Council 2852 conducted a membership blitz at Holy Spirit Church. Saverio Grosso spoke at a couple of the masses and presented Father Tony with a copy of the Father McGivney autobiography to thank him for his support of our Council and being our Chaplain. Council 2852 participated in Holy Spirit's Ministry Sunday

Lt. Kevin Lyons, a member of New Hyde Park Council 2852, and his son
Christian attended the Holy Name Society Mass and Communion Breakfast at
Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Lyons is also the president of the NYPD
Anchor Club, a gathering of NYPD Knights from different councils who
support charitable causes in their communities.
New Hyde Park Knights May 21st a Basketball Tournament was held at Great Neck North High School. This was the first year the team our council supports participated in this tournament. It is with Great 2852 Pride to report that our team won the tournament and went home with the "Gold"! Congratulations to all members of the team, Joe Abberton, Saverio Grosso, Megan O'Connor and all that participated in this Special Olympics basketball program. Job Well Done !!!
