Dear Brother Knight, Today more than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. In addition, 78 million baby boomers are approaching the age of greatest risk for developing this fatal disease. Now is the time to ACT to end this epidemic! This year, to support those affected by Alzheimer’s, I’m participating in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk® to raise funds and awareness to fight this disease. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research, and funds I raise will go directly toward supporting their efforts. My family and I do this in support of my father, a disabled veteran (and a Third Degree Knight of Columbus), who is afflicted with this disease. Hopefully one day soon there will be a cure. I know I can make a difference with your support! Will you consider making a donation? It’s easy to give online by following the image link above. Thank you in advance for your time and generosity – together, we can help end Alzheimer’s! Council Fishing trip Special Olympics Knight Appreciation Night Council Web Site The front page of the web site has changed, but will be modified as time permits. A rather disturbed individual decided it would be cool to place a 'backdoor' trojan on our site. This is the worst type of virus that you can encounter. Why these people cannot use their talents for good instead of evil and fordestruction is beyond me. It is now safe to use the site again and I wil get it back to where it was before this attack as soon as I can. If you do have any issues please e-mail me. The e-mail link is at the very bottom of this page. Sorry for any inconvience this may have caused you but it is unfortunate that we have to deal with these type of deranged individuals. - The WebMaster K of C District 17 News For the Columbian Year 2010 - 2011 our District will have a new District Deputy.
