Please read this article, These walks do help ...

    Dear Brother Knight,
Today more than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. In addition, 78 million baby boomers are approaching the age of greatest risk for developing this fatal disease. Now is the time to ACT to end this epidemic! This year, to support those affected by Alzheimer’s, I’m participating in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk® to raise funds and awareness to fight this disease. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research, and funds I raise will go directly toward supporting their efforts. My family and I do this in support of my father, a disabled veteran (and a Third Degree Knight of Columbus), who is afflicted with this disease. Hopefully one day soon there will be a cure. I know I can make a difference with your support! Will you consider making a donation? It’s easy to give online by following the image link above. Thank you in advance for your time and generosity – together, we can help end Alzheimer’s!

    Fraternally,
    Rich Edwards

    Council Web Site

The front page of the web site has changed, but will be modified as time permits. A rather disturbed individual decided it would be cool to place a 'backdoor' trojan on our site. This is the worst type of virus that you can encounter. Why these people cannot use their talents for good instead of evil and fordestruction is beyond me. It is now safe to use the site again and I wil get it back to where it was before this attack as soon as I can. If you do have any issues please e-mail me. The e-mail link is at the very bottom of this page. Sorry for any inconvience this may have caused you but it is unfortunate that we have to deal with these type of deranged individuals.

Fight Freedom of Choice ACT (FOCA)
    Abortion Bill

FOCA Would Wipe Away Every Restriction on Abortion Nationwide This would eradicate state and federal laws that the majority of Americans support, such as:

    • Bans on Partial Birth Abortion
    • Requirements that women be given information about the risks of getting an abortion
    • Only licensed physicians can perform abortions
    • Parents must be informed and give consent to their minor daughter's abortion.

FOCA would erase these laws and prevent states from enacting similar protective measures in the future.

Fight Reproductive Health and Privacy Protection (RHAPP) Abortion Bill

Stop New York State's Extreme Abortion Proposal. Click the image to sign the petition or print this petition and ask family and friends to sign it. Address for where to send it is on the petition.

RHAPP could force these extreme results:

    • Catholic hospitals and other religious facilities in New York State could lose their license to operate if they did not provide abortions.
    • Force all insurance plans, including those of Catholic employers, to cover abortion.
    • Legalize abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, for virtually any reason.
    • Make abortion immune from any reasonable state regulation such as parental notification or informed consent.
    • Repeal current law that requires licensed doctors to perform abortions and allow any "health care practitioner" to provide it.
    • Allow late-term abortions to be performed in clinics that do not offer the full complement of support facilities necessary to assist women and any child born alive during an abortion.
