One of the Council's long time members and a guy who does a lot of work around

Bob Thompson, one of the
Council's new members who recently received his Third Degree, has been diagnosed
with Leukemia. Please pray for Bob's recovery and also keep his family in your

New Hyde Park Knights Special Olympics
Recently
the New Hyde Park Knights Special Olympics team entered a tournament held
in Westhampton. Our team won both tournament games and once again came
away with the GOLD MEDAL !!!
A big congratulations goes out to Joe Abberton and his Coaches, and most
importantly the Athletes who once again represented our Council so well.

Tallini hosts an evening of prayer and reflection. Members, friends and family
are encouraged to take time out from an often chaotic world and through the
Rosary relieve the stress that is so often a part of our lives. Join in this
hour of devotion; an evening to renew our friendships and love for Mary and
Jesus and with one another.
